  If you are looking for a home church where you will be greeted with open arms, learn from God's Holy word and be a part of out reach, this is one great church! I drive 18 miles one way to be a part of it and it is well worth it. It has great men's, women's, teen's and children's programs. And child care is often provided. They seem to think of everything for everyone through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Please give it a try. I think you'll be happy you did!

  It is a nice church away from home. Teaches Biblically and does not stray from THE WORD. One draw back, I feel the need to be more welcoming to guest from out of town.

  It has been on my heart for months to learn Biblical truths about prayer, to develop in prayer, to pray God's Word, to pray according to God's Will. Last night I was praying that "I would see Your glory tomorrow as I have not seen it Lord.". Today, I was praying about job search, and "Lord show me what You would have me to see today". In my email was an employment opportunity with Ankeny Free Church, God is so good, I decided to find out about this Church so getting on their website, I have been so blessed with "Pray and Watch" sermons, and wonderful worship music. God bless you Ankeny Free Church for being obedient to "Reach, Build & Serve". I live in a city of 400+ churches, it is parched land here - dry as a desert. I have not given up on God, He is faithful, resting in Him, fellowshipping with Him, He will provide all our needs according to His riches in Glory. This just made we well up with joy and laugh, I do not qualify for the job, but the Lord wanted me to hear some excellent Bible based teaching on prayer to grow me.
